It has been such a crazy week! Work has been even busier and I'll try to post something every day next week. I feel like that will be a miracle if I can make the time for it.
So what are some of the miracles that we find today? How about when you wake up each morning alive and breathing, going to church and standing in the presence of God? Those are just some of the things we might take for granted at times.
Yesterday in the 100 degree weather I saw a grandfather carrying a little girl, maybe his granddaughter (9 or 10?) on his back. Before I could pull over to ask if they needed a ride somewhere they sat at the bus stop in some shade. I thought wow he had the strength to hold her that must be a miracle.
Unable to sleep during the night I went to Wal-Mart since its 24 hours to do some shopping. I sat in the parking lot to finish listening to a song. As I watched the parking lot I saw a car driving thru the parking lot crazy as ever. To myself I thought there really are crazy people at Wal-Mart. The car parked beside me and a lady ran out right to a shopping cart that was nearby. As I watched she grabbed a purse out of the cart. Then she began to pray. I stepped out of the car and told the lady, "Wow, that is a miracle." She was crying and told me it was because she was on her way to California and needed her purse because it had her license and money.
Finally the greatest one to me was hearing a story from a friend who told me how his family all made small sacrifices to make their mom's dream come true. That is a miracle to me! They unselfishly gave and now she is going to achieve something she always wanted. It reminded me of what the bible says in Proverbs 19:17 "He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again." I know God will bless that family.
You can never out give God so what holds us back from allowing us to be used by him to make a miracle happen? Now I ask myself, "What is in thine hand?" I want to do something for God and while it may seem small it will be Big, maybe even a miracle to someone else.
