Time for Something New

I'm assuming the first thing you saw on my blog was the new picture I put up. You probably wondered what is that picture of?  Am I right? You've just seen a sneak peek of one of many pictures that I took from the concert with Trans-Siberian Orchestra!

I'm still editing and downloading pictures from the concert I attended last night. I had such a great time seeing Trans-Siberian Orchestra! I wish several friends had went with me. Maybe after you see the pictures you'll be making plans to attend their next show. Until next time I hope everyone has a Happy New Year!!!

Trans-Siberian Orchestra

I'm going to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra this Friday! This is the first time for me and I'm really looking forward to it. I have a floor seat center stage. I'm hoping I can take some great pics of the concert and post them here soon!

Ugly Christmas Sweater

It's almost December 20th! Thru all the hustle and bustle I started to look for an Ugly Christmas sweater.
When I found it I kind of just knew this one would be the one. Maybe I'll save it for myself one day years from now bcuz its a XXL.

I decided to wear it at the last min for a few minutes at work so I could get this picture done.  Be sure to check out Destiny's blog so you can see everyone who participated! We all look forward to seeing who wins.

Finals

Finals week is finally over and it always goes something like this... 

'Twas the Night Before Finals

T'was the night before finals,
And all through the college,
The students were praying
For last minute knowledge.

Most were quite sleepy,
But none touched their beds,
While visions of essays
Danced in their heads.

Out in the sports field,
There were some throwing,
In hope that some exercise
Would get their brains going.

In my own apartment,
I had been pacing,
Dreading all those exams
I soon would be facing.

My roommate was speechless,
His nose in his books,
And my comments to him
Drew unfriendly looks.

I drained all the coffee,
And brewed a new pot,
No longer caring
That my nerves were shot.

I stared at my notes,
But my thoughts were all muddy,
My eyes went a'blur,
I just couldn't study.

"Some pizza might help,"
I said with a shiver,
But each place I called
Refused to deliver.

I'd pretty much concluded
Life is unfair and cruel,
Since our futures all depend
On grades made in school.

When all of a sudden,
Our door opened wide,
And Patron Saint Put-It-Off
Ambled inside.

Her spirit was careless,
Her manner was mellow,
She looked at the mess
And started to bellow:

"Why should us students
Make such a fuss,
About what those teachers
Toss out to us?"

"On Cliff Notes! On Crib Notes!
On Last Year's Exams!
On Wingit and Slingit,
And Last Minute Crams!"

Her message delivered,
She vanished from sight,
But we heard her laughing
Outside in the night.

"Your teachers won't flunk you,
So just do your best.
Happy Finals to All,
And to All, a good test."

  Now I can proudly say myself also that I passed my final! I can now take my National Test for pharmacy Technician in the next few weeks! I'm so happy to have a break.

I had lunch today with family and friends at the olive garden today. Scarlett told me I needed "cheese" on my blog haha.
